Cocoa's Peppers - Three Weeks

Cocoa's Peppers are three weeks old today and we have eyes to see and ears to hear! With their new senses, they have earned a kitchen daytime pen! They will get to know the sounds of our daily home life and be more accessible for more frequent socialization. We love when it is time to bring puppies to the kitchen and the puppies have had no problems with this new adventure.

My concern at this time of year is that they stay warm. They have a heating pad and heat lamp to keep them toasty in their pen, and they cuddle together to stay warm. I am very proud of the puppies who have already begun using potty pads! They are off to a surprisingly great start.

Puppies are still sleeping most of the time. In our pictures you can see some puppies thought they'd wake up for minute to be photographed and others couldn't be bothered.

All of the puppies in this litter have been reserved. Individual pictures can be found on Cocoa's Nursery Page.

Cocoa's Peppers - Two Weeks

Cocoa's Peppers are two weeks old today and were considerably nicer on the picture table this week! They are all growing and gaining weight. We have a couple of pups that have reached one pound! I'm sure the others will be there within days.

This morning presented a fun surprise when I checked in with the pups. Two puppies have opened their eyes! This is the week they will all gain two new senses: sight and sound. It's an exciting new world for them.

All of the puppies in this litter have been reserved. Individual pictures can be found on Cocoa's Nursery Page.

Cocoa's Peppers - One Week

Cocoa's Peppers are doing great! They will be one week old tomorrow and had a full photo shoot today. They were as spicy as their names... how can such young and tiny babies have such big attitudes?!

These pups were born with a lot of pigment! You see it in their noses, and they also have very dark tips. I expect those tips to fade as their hair grows. They appear black and white, but will be in the red tones as those black tips grow out.

Puppies are not yet available to reserve, but individual pictures have been posted on Cocoa's Nursery page. We are excited to watch these babies grow.

Peach's Pups that Stole Christmas - Seven Weeks

Final photo shoot for this litter! Peach's puppies are seven weeks old and will be preparing for their next big adventure next week. They are all so confident and playful and snuggly. I will miss squishing these puppies after they go on to new homes.

This week will be a first (full) bath and blow-dry, first car ride (to the vet), a vet visit, first vaccine, and first time meeting new families! They are ready for these big moments, and I am excited for our new families to meet this bunch.

All of Peach's puppies have been reserved. Individual pictures can be found in Peach's Nursery.

Peach's Pups that Stole Christmas - Six Weeks

Peach's puppies are six weeks old and will be enjoying one last week with their older cousin-siblings. Puppies are doing excellent with eating and learning potty pads. They have been combined with Daisy's litter this week during the day and night and get along very well with the other litter. We are enjoying these puppies very much and I forget they are a week younger than the other puppies, until these guys find a place to curl up and crash much earlier than Daisy's litter!

All of Peach's puppies have been reserved. Individual pictures can be found in Peach's Nursery.

Daisy's Sweet Treats - Seven Weeks

Big Milestone: LAST PHOTO SHOOT!!! These puppies were so kind to hold still and all look at the camera one last time on the photo table. I cannot believe these puppies will start to leave our Mother Goose nest in the next week. This past week has shown big jumps in confidence and endurance! It's pretty wild to see how much longer they outlast the younger litter during puppy breaks.

This week will bring a vet check, first vaccine, and first bath, blow dry, and face trim.

All of Daisy's puppies have been reserved. Individual pictures can be found in Daisy's Nursery.
