Daisy's Wicked Puppies - One Week

Daisy's puppies are one week old and cute as can be. They seem so small next to Cocoa's puppies, and I am amazed at the growth that occurs in such a short time. It's wild to think they'll be that size later this week.

Daisy's puppies have all been reserved by past clients.

I am looking forward to watching them grow and showing them off on our social media account for their new families to see.

Cocoa's World Cup Pups - One Week

 

Cocoa's World Cup Pups are one week old and getting plumper every time I blink. They are quiet and calm and doing a perfect job with the eat/sleep/repeat routine. Momma Cocoa is doing well and keeps the puppies clean and well fed.

All of the puppies in this litter have been reserved by past clients.

I am looking forward to watching them grow, and expecting eyes to open any day.

Daisy's Puppies Have Arrived

 

Daisy's puppies arrived late in the night on June 23rd. Mom and puppies are all doing well. Puppies are gaining weight quickly and learning the routine of eat-sleep-repeat. Daisy seems to love being a mother. She is such a natural nurturer and is doing great with her new babies.

Cocoa's Puppies Have Arrived

 

Cocoa and her puppies had a safe delivery last night! Puppies arrived in the evening hours on June 19th. There are two parti-colored girls, and one solid boy in this litter. I haven't decided if Cocoa is just the best mother, or if the puppies are the smartest, quietest, best eaters I have ever had. They are doing really well and making my job easy.

Peach's Starting Five - Seven Weeks

 

Pups are seven weeks old. This was our last photo shoot for Peach's Starting Five. Last week they were too wild on the photo table, and this week they were too tired! I was able to get a picture of them poking their little faces over the edge of the basket before they formed a cuddle puddle and took a nap inside.

Last week was a lot of fun introducing the puppies to the outdoors. They love running and playing in the grass but always manage to congregate to the dirt hole... is that a boy trait? or a puppy trait?

Puppies are fully weaned and have graduated from soft food to hard kibble. They are all ready to go from a food standpoint.

This week they will have baths, visit the vet for a well-check, and receive their first vaccine. We are quickly approaching our first launch dates next week.

Peach's Starting Five - Six Weeks

 

Maybe I will reattempt a group picture later today, but yesterday these boys were NOT interested in holding still long enough to capture them all in one frame. Not even a crate could keep them long enough for a picture. Maybe if I wait until they are really tired after a puppy break I can catch them for a picture.

This week the puppies have gone from barely hobbling out of their enclosure for a tiny exploration, to demanding several long puppy breaks throughout the day. For the most part their puppy breaks are limited to a small area as they are still working on hitting the potty pads with consistency.

Puppies are cutting teeth and mastering eating solid foods, which is great because Momma Peach is ready to be done. She visits them very infrequently and they are now getting most of their nutrition from their puppy food. Their favorite is canned Nutrisouce Puppy but they dabble in the hard kibble (Same brand). Next stage of food will be softened kibble (soaked in water) before they move entirely to kibble.

Looking forward to this coming week, I think we will take the puppies outside and start to teach them about the great outdoors!

Peach's Starting Five - Five Weeks

 

These boys are five weeks old! They have grown so much this week in terms of activity level. Everyone happily dabbles in kibble and laps at the puppy mush. Peach's pups still prefer mother's milk to fill up, but we are off to a good start and should begin weaning this week.

The puppies have one or two mini puppy breaks every day. They don't last long! It is still a rare occurrence to see the pups awake and active. This week I anticipate a little more playtime: possibly some kitchen exploration and a visit to the great outdoors if we continue to have nice weather.
