Peach's Chipmunks - Seven Weeks

Peach's puppies are 7 weeks old. This is their final photo shoot in our home and they were so well behaved. These guys have become my little buddies and I really enjoy reaching in and snuggling a squishy baby anytime of the day!

The boys are fully weaned and have become pros at eating dry kibble and drinking water from a bowl. They are also learning to eat treats. One in particular has adopted the "puppy dog eyes" stare anytime I am working on food stuff in the kitchen. While he (*cough cough Leo*) has never been given scraps, I have given him a big dog kibble here and there, and that is a puppy's favorite treat!

Outside is the best playground, and kids are the best friends. I will miss this bunch when they leave our nest, but am excited for them to meet their forever families, and spread their joy.

All of the puppies in this litter have been reserved.

Peach's Chipmunks - Six Weeks

Alvin, Simon, and Leo are six weeks old. I can't believe how much they have grown up, comparing this week's pictures to last. Their hair is getting long enough that they are due for some face and feet trims.

The boys have been introduced to the outdoors, and they are still deciding how they feel about it. They love to go out, but don't like to stay out for long. They are more comfortable in the kitchen. I'm sure this will change in the coming week.

Puppies are doing a super job transitioning to solid food. They do great with kibble, and will probably be fully on solid kibble by the end of this week.

All of the puppies in this litter have been reserved.

Peach's Chipmunks - Five Weeks

(Is it football season?!?)

And the Chipmunks are AWAKE! This is the week the puppies realized it is more fun to be awake and playful, than huddled and sleeping. They are a really sweet trio of boys and absolutely love to be held.

They are gaining confidence on the slippery kitchen floor, and exploring a wider area. I am looking forward to taking them outside this week.

We are working on eating this week. Some litters seem to be born ready for hard kibble, and others need some convincing. This is a group that has been spoiled and well fed by mama and they are in the "need some convincing" group. They will eat a little kibble for fun, and they seem to like the canned food but only a few bites at a time. At the end of this week, we will start taking Momma Peach away at night and hope this persuades them to do more than dabble in puppy kibble.

All of the puppies in this litter have been reserved.

Peach's Chipmunks - Four Weeks

Alvin, Simon, and Theodore are four weeks old and starting to outgrow that awkward phase... hairy potatoes, eyes are open but not really focused... and they are starting to really like people interaction. They are so snuggly and sweet this week.

We are going to have to work on solids. They are not at all interested. Peach is keeping them full and content with momma's milk.

Pups still sleep almost all of the time, but are starting to play with toys, each other, and the humans more often.

All of the puppies in this litter have been reserved.

Peach's Chipmunks - Three Weeks

Peach's Chipmunks turned three weeks old on Friday and had a little photo shoot yesterday. These pups take their jobs very seriously. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.

But now it's time to wake up! The boys do not stay awake for long, but when they are awake, they are wagging tails and eagerly trying to figure out people! They are so squishy and soft. We are just about to get to the fun part with these babies.

All of the puppies in this litter have been reserved.

Peach's Chipmunks - Two Weeks

Peach's Chipmunks turned two weeks old. They've grown a lot in the past week, both in size and development. They are now viewing the world through their eyes and listening to the sounds of the house with their ears that have unsealed. Their eyesight and hearing will continue to mature and improve over the next several weeks.

Puppies are now in the kitchen and we are looking forward to getting to know these puppies better as they start to wake up and develop their personalities.

All of the puppies in this litter have been reserved.
